per year after paying a $2,000 deductible; those with MSP
receive $1,000 a year.
- Those over 65 receive $25 coverage for each prescription
up to a maximum of $275 a year; those with MSP receive $10
coverage for each prescription.

Dental Care

- Foster children are the only individuals to receive 100%
coverage for dental check-ups and procedures.
- The government only covers medically required surgical
procedures performed by a surgeon or dental surgeon in a hospital.

Vision Care

- Individuals aged 16 to 64 receive full coverage for
one examination every 24 months.

Hospital Care
|
- Basic hospital care accommodations are covered.

Health Specialists
|
- Those under 65 receive partial coverage for a variety
of medically required health specialist care.

|
- Various fees apply to different services.

Ambulatory Services
|
- Partial coverage is allotted for ground transportation: $54
for the first 40km, then 50¢ per extra kilometer. A maximum
of $274 is covered.

Hearing Aids
|
- There is no coverage for hearing aids.

Medical Equipment and Supplies
|
- Medical equipment is not covered.
- Various prostheses have different policies.
